Quality Products NorthWest, LLC began as the classic small business started in a basement shop.
That first year began as a desire to do a little shrimping in Hood Canal, Washington, and a little crabbing in Puget Sound by hand. What a learning experience that was!
Looking at hydraulic haulers was disappointing. They were very expensive, heavy and complicated. Gas engine pullers were no better: noisy and very dangerous. Certainly there must be a better way!
Armed with a few ideas and a lot of confidence, the decision was made to design and build an electric pot puller. After months of hard work, a design was found that worked well. A nearby neighbor saw the design and wanted one for himself, and then his friend heard about it and wanted one as well, and one for another friend. We made some improvements and suddenly we were in business!

We are a small manufacturing business focused on fabricating safe, high quality products. We have worked hard to establish a network of dealers in various areas of the West Coast and Alaska. We feel that our best product sales and support is provided through our distributed dealer network as they are able to provide local sales, installation and customer service. We do not sell direct to the public as we feel we would be competing with our dealers.
We continue to develop, improve and design our product line and add new products as we are able. Our commitment is to our dealer network and to our product end users, to manufacture the safest and highest quality marine gear at an affordable price.
