The following are a few testimonials from some of our customers:

Gentlemen:

I want to thank you for producing a top-quality electric pot hauler. I have a house in Kodiak, Alaska where I use my skiff for serious recreational crabbing and fishing. Most people in the community insist on hydraulic pot haulers because they claim there is no electric pot hauler that can handle the wear and tear of Alaska weather and fishing. After two tries with your competitors’ pot haulers I was ready to agree. Between shorts, corrosion and lack of pulling power, I couldn’t give the old haulers away.

I was more than a little skeptical about going electric again but a friend in Southeast Alaska told me great things about your product. Two summers ago I purchased the Light Commercial Safe-T-Puller. It has been a phenomenal machine. It is a very well designed and easy to install. The foot-operated switch makes hauling pots much easier and safer than a hand-activated switch. The pulling power is everything it was supposed to be and more. Best of all, after two years of constant saltwater exposure, there is not one bit of corrosion anywhere on the system.

I have used the puller for a thousand plus crab pot hauls without a single problem. I even used it to hoist a 200 lb. Halibut into the skiff when I was fishing by myself and couldn’t get the fish aboard any other way. It’s a piece of equipment that was built Alaska-tough and I couldn’t get by without it.

And here's another lobster catcher!

Dear Sir:

I thought I would send a thanks for giving me my summers back. I am 60 years old, retired, with disc problems in my back. One of my greatest pleasures is pulling my lobster pots. Two years ago I hurt my back and my pot hauling days were over along with the good times of taking many friends out to haul with me.

Last Christmas my wife gave me your pot hauler and I have been back out able to continue the good times. Needless to say my wife is happy I am out of the house again.

Thank you so much for a quality product that allows me to continue my summer lifestyle.

I highly recommend and endorse your hauling motor and would encourage anyone with questions to please call me.

Sincerely,

J. Adams

Installing a Safety Hauler pot puller on my boat this summer was the best idea I’ve come up with in a while. It added a whole new dimension to our boating experience that the whole family shared in. It always brought an exciting end to a day spent fishing or just being out on the water.

I found the puller installation to be straight forward. Not wanting a permanent davit attached to my boat, I got the three-part kit where I take down the davit and motor in seconds after each use. The Alaskan model I got (rated at 200 pounds) works great and effortlessly pulls my king and long-lined shrimp pots in depths of 300-400 feet. The material and craftsmanship are first class along with it’s easy and safe use. At my harbor here in Juneau Alaska , you see the Safety-Puller and Safety-Hauler’s installed up and down the docks and everyone shares the same opinion, they love them. I highly recommened them to anyone who is considerng purchasing a pot puller.

I have used the Safe-T-Puller for about four weeks. I have hauled about 500 traps with it when I noticed a malfunction.

I am very pleased with the quality of your product. For the past three years I have been looking for a powerful pot hauler that was easy to install and operate. The Safe-T-Puller allows me to haul 120 lobster traps in less than 3 hours. In the past I would haul 60 traps by hand in 4 hours.

I have been fishing with it for three weeks and have already had four inquires about the functionality of it and where they can buy one. It is so powerful and quick that I even use it to haul my anchor and 300 feet of line. It makes moving from one fishing spot to another a breeze!

Sam Giarrusso

We had a great opening weekend despite heavy tides. We used 30 lb. pots with additional 12LD pyramids on the line. My new STP1600 worked great. I've enclosed a picture of a good pull.

For the past three years, I have used your Safe-T-Puller in both the Prince Williams Sound and in Southeast Alaska. Whether I am pulling five shrimp pots from depths exceeding 700 feet or single crab pots at 200 feet, I have found your puller to be reliable, safe and well designed. It works so well that many of my friends installed one on their boat. Thanks for building a superior product and thanks for the great customer support!

In regards to the Light Commercial Safe-T-Puller crab block I purchased in Dec. 04. This piece of machinery is great, it pulls 100 Lb. Pots with no trouble what so ever. I've used it at least 30 different days; it has never let me down in any way.

I would recommend the Safe-T-Puller to anyone looking for an electric puller, It Is The BEST! Thanks for a great product!

I run a string of 10 commercial crab pots (42” round), which I use for sport crabbing. Your “Light Commercial” model performs as advertised, accomplishing everything that I could ever wish. Each pot weighs about 80 pounds, with crab, around 110 ponds. While pulling the pots, we never take the boat out of gear, but rather travel in a large circle, all the while pulling the pot off the bottom. We don’t take the buoys into the boat, with all the mess that would result.

I just thought you would appreciate knowing how happy and satisfied with this customer is.

Sincerely,

Paul Fischer

Dear Sirs:

I have owned one of these electric crab pot pullers (Safe-T-Puller) for 5 years and could not be without it. I Love It!

Sincerely,

Dear Quality Products NorthWest, LLC;

I calculate that I haul approximately 3.21 miles of gear a year with my STP-1600 Safe-T-Puller. I usually set two strings of 10, 36" pots in 60 to 70 fathoms. After the first year I took it all apart thinking that it would need servicing. I was wrong. My Puller hangs over the side where it is exposed to salt spray and rain all the time and has never failed me.

Have been using a Safe-T-Puller for seven years now and have bent two different custom made davits, now I use the stock davit that comes with the Safe-T-Puller, it never freezes up and has held up to some real abuse without bending.

Dear Quality Products NorthWest, LLC:

The Safe-T-Puller has been a great addition to our boat. It is so easy to use, quiet and lightweight enough for one person to handle. It's great for crabbing and shrimping. We Love It!

Pagenkopf testimonial picGentlemen:

As a fellow boater and fisherman, I wish to complement your company on the practical design and application of your Safe-T-Puller and Shrimp Pots.

I currently have a davit mounted, Light Commercial Model, Safe-T-Puller transom mounted on my 40 foot pleasure craft. Here in Southeast Alaska I fish 4-foot square King Crab pots and strings of shrimp pots to depths of 600 feet. In the three years that I have used the Safe-T-Puller, it has not let me down once, and it quickly and safely pulls in the pots.

Another use I have found for the Safe-T-Puller is the lifting and hanging of halibut, with the biggest to date being 240 pounds, for skinning and filleting. The puller makes a backbreaking job easy.

Pagenkopf testimonial picUp until last year I was fishing shrimp with 2-foot square coated wire mesh pots. I usually fished 2 strings of 5 pots per string. Last spring I acquired one of your larger rectangular shrimp pots. On my first use of your pot, I noted that your rectangular pot out fished my other pots 3 to 1. I now fish 3 of your pots and get as many or more shrimp than I did with the other 10 smaller pots. Your pots are also faster and easier to bait as well as unload the shrimp.

Good Fishing,

Hello,

We just wanted to write to let you know how pleased we are with the Shrimp Pot we purchased from you at the Monroe Sportsman’ Show this year. We ended up buying your 6 entrance octagonal pot.

When you told us that this pot consistently produces at least a limit of shrimp each time, we wondered if you were telling the truth.David Neault testimonial pic

After fishing this year’s Hood Canal Spot Shrimp Season, we can honestly say you have convinced us!

We keep track of our catch and are happy to share our production numbers. Of the four times we soaked the pot an hour we caught 119, 148, 162, 195 shrimp! Since our limit is 80 each, it made for very short days on the water.

The pictures we included gives you an idea of our catch.

Sincerely,

David and Andrea Neault

Dear Quality Products NorthWest, LLC,

Of the seven types of shrimp pots I used in 2005, the Magnum Shrimp Pot by far outperformed the others and is the only shrimp pot I will every buy going forward.

After installing my Safety-Puller pot puller on my boat in June, I wasted no time in trying out my hand at shrimping in the waters of Southeast Alaska. I had a real mixed bag of shrimp pots to use; (square, round, oval, big, small, net mesh, rubberized chicken wire, round openings, ramp openings and square openings) and an unlimited supply of fresh bait, thanks to the seafood processing plant down the road. After testing several spots, I found a place that produced good catches throughout the season. Each of my two long lines had 5 pots attached spread about 15’ apart from each other. Within a couple of weeks I knew which pots were fair, good or great and which pots were wasting my time to bait. I was amazed that some pots sold locally for over $80 consistently caught 1/20th the shrimp I landed in the Magnum pots, sitting next to each other.

The pots stayed in the water a little over 3 straight months with no barnacle growth or algae buildup. Everything about the pot is first class including the doors, shrimp ports, large twin bait compartment that you fill from outside with latching doors and the ganion (halibut) clip for one hand connection of pot to the long line.
